This is a unique handmade toy storage with both Spalted Maple and Black Walnut, in order to create a big contrast of colors and grain in the wood. This was finished with a box joint, in order to make it extra sturdy and long-lasting for its tiny new human. Customized with her name inside of the lid and filled with black resin, for a shinny and smooth finish.
Inside of the toy chest, there is a 1/4" Baltic Birch that sits floating that can only be accessed with a hidden magnetized key. It has a total of 6" tall in the hidden space. The custom built magnetized key is stored, also hidden, underneath the storage, next to one of the legs.
This practical, unique, and very creative storage container is a legacy design that will be an eye-catcher.
